Job application

The Nobel Prize organisation offers student interns to work for a short period of time with Nobel Prize winners from the past.  Here is an opportunity for you to work very closely with the winner of your choice.

As a serious applicant you need to send an oral presentation of yourself. Here are some points to consider in your recording (add your own if you like):

• A brief presentation of yourself.
• What fascinates you about the winner's research?
• What would you like to learn during this internship?
• In what way/s/ can you make a useful contribution to the winner's work?
• Make an overall assessment why you are a suitable applicant.

Remember to make a good impression of yourself. Use formal English.

Minimum length 2 minutes, maximum length 5 minutes.

Ask your teacher/classmates for feedback before the final recording.  

Time for presentation: Tuesday 20 December 2011.
